Feb. 14 Back swinging those Valentine's Day love songs from 6:00-9:00 at our home base, The 55 Bar in The Village. Steve Elmer, piano, Dan Fabricatore, bass and Desi Norman, on vibes. Nuts, or pretzels. Can't decide.
   
Feb. 21 The Laurita Winery, in New Egypt, NJ (609-758-8000) is featuring an afternoon of jazz and wine tasting. Music and libations from 1:00-5:00. GladstoneTrott, piano, Desi Norman, vibes and Mike Carino, bass.
   
March 1, 15, 22 & 20 Singing at the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary's Church, Deal, NJ. Come in for a spiritual lift.
   
March 1 thru 12 Jaunting around Italy for some singing, wine tasting and shopping. On the schedule are stops in Florence to sing at the Open Bar, at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio, the Fiorenze Jazz Club, and the Slowly Bar. I expect to be at Novecento Jazz Club in Venice. Perhaps a little open air vocals in a gondola! Can't wait.
   
March 14 Back at The 55 Bar. Probably have one or two Italian songs in the line-up. Steve Elmer, piano, Dan Fabricatore, bass and Desi Norman, vibes. Don't forget the snacks.
   
March 29 My darling Children's Choir will be singing at the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary's celebrating Spring. You should try and check this out. So precious.
   
April 5, 12, 19 & 26 Back on the alter for the 10:00 AM service at St. Mary's. Guitar and voice.
   
April 11 Home again, home again juggity-jig. The 55 Bar, 6:00-9:00 Steve Elmer, Dan Fabricatore and Desi Norman making their magic. Gotta love this place. Always snacks too.
   
May 1 Part of the Jazz Cafe Series with my trio. 8:00-10:00pm The Herb Eckert Auditorium in the South Brunswick Complex, no cover.

May 30 The Pines Manor 7-11pm with the Jack Allen Orchestra celebrating the Edison Arts Society and their achievements. Tickets are available through the Society or on-line.
   
June 13 OUR REGULAR NIGHT AT THE 55 BAR HAS TO BE POSTPONED UNTIL THE JULY DATE. I HAVE A FAMILY WEDDING TO ATTEND. HOPE THEY SERVE THOSE LITTLE HOT DOGS!
   
July 18 The Billion Dollar Big Band at that fabulous Clinton Park, the one with the flying bats and natures perfect backdrop. Start time is around 7:00 and don't forget your blankets and libations.
   
Aug. 2 Warren Park, Woodbridge, 6-8:30 with The Billion Dollar Big Band. So nice to hear all those horns. Bring chairs and whatever else you'd like.
   
Aug. 8 Happy days back at The 55 Bar, NYC for our regular 6-9. Steve Elmer, piano, Desi Norman, vibes and Dan Fabricatore, bass. Always swingin' always snacks.
   
Aug. 9 Spring Lake Park, in South Plainfield, 6:30-8:00. Back swingin' with the Billion Dollar Big Band. Must bring chairs and bug spray is a good idea too.
   
Aug. 12 South Amboy Marine Park, 6:30-8:30 with the Jack Allen Orchestra. A perfectly lovely spot to enjoy outdoor music. Rain location in the high school just prior to the park.
   
Aug. 26 Thompson Park, Jamesburg. 2:00-4:00. More horns and sax's with the Billion Dollar Big Band. These summer concerts help keep the big bands available for everyone to enjoy.

Sept. 5 I'll be with my "little big band" at the Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival. Our performance time is 5:30-6:30. You can find us at the Cooper Ave/Ocean Ave intersection on the boardwalk. A fabulous location with the beautiful ocean behind us.
   
Sept. 12 The 55 Bar, with Onaje Allan Gumbs on piano, Desi Norman on vibes, Dan Fabricatore on bass. Always 6-9, always goodies, always swinging music.
   
Oct 4, 11, 18 & 25 Singing my heart out with Bob Hazelrigg on guitar at the 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary's Church in Deal. If you're in the area.............
   
Oct. 9 Woodbridge Conference Center, an afternoon private party (which I love doing) for Woodbridge Class Reunion of 1943............oh my gosh, this is going to be fun.
   
Oct. 10 Bar 55, our wonderfully steady second Saturday of the month gig in the best jazz room in NYC. 6-9. No cover. 55 Christopher Street. Steve Elmer, piano; Desi Norman, vibes, Dave Kingsnorth, bass. Serious snacks this time.
   
Oct. 18 My darling Children's Choir starts rehersals again for the 2009/2010 season.

Dec. 12 Bar 55 with a Christmas theme. If you've never heard my girls from Staten Island singing The Twelve Days of Christmas, it's worth the trip in. Gladstone Trott, keys; Desi Norman, vibes; Mike Carino, bass.
   
Dec. 20 My Darling St. Mary's Children's Choir presents their first concert. A beautiful collection of both unique and traditional Christmas music. This is such a joy, hope you can make it.
